A Celebration of Life Visitation for Danny Brumley, age 75, of Harris will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 4:00-6:00pm with military rites starting at 4:00pm all at the VFW Memorial Hall in Spirit Lake.
Dan Robert Brumley, the son of Clint and Gladys Brumley, Dan Robert Brumley was born on July 22, 1950, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. He passed away on October 21, 2025.
Dan was united in marriage to Diane (Maranell) Brumley on June 25, 1994, in Lake Park, Iowa. During his life, he worked as a truck driver and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from March 1969 until March 1972, earning the rank of Private First Class. He was a member of the Round Lake VFW.
Over the years, Dan lived in Jacksonville, Florida, Lake Park, Iowa, and, since 2012, made his home in Harris. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, riding his Harley, and relaxing with a beer or whiskey while watching Gunsmoke. One of his favorite pastimes was giving golf cart rides to his dog, Harley. Above all, Dan cherished time spent with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Diane Brumley; son, Clint Brumley, granddaughter, Hannah (Nile) Vincent and grandson, Cole (fiancé, Katey) Brumley; daughter, Autumn (Mike) Ross; daughter, Susan (Josh & Amanda) Rambo, grandson, Tyler McGarrah, great-grandchildren: Riley, Alexander, and Ashlynn Watts, granddaughter, Aubre Floyd, grandson, Joshua Rambo, granddaughter, Katie Bennett, great-grandson, Carson W.; stepson (deceased), Tom Moore, grandchildren: Nicole, Logan, Connor, Cassie; stepson, Tony Moore, granddaughter, Brooke (Tony) Delgado, great-grandchildren: Parker, Guage, Liam, granddaughter, Jordan (Jericho) Jones, great-grandchildren: Kaecyn, Gavyn, Maliki, Aubrielle; extended family and friends.
Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Gladys Brumley; brother, Donnie Brumley; sister, Beverly (Byron) Schuett; stepson, Tom Moore; nephew, Bruce and niece, Linda.
