A memorial service for Sally Will, age 90, of Spirit Lake, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Burial will be at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Sally can be given to the Warner Dialysis Center in Spirit Lake.
Sally Lynn Will, daughter of Melvin and Beulah (Pierce) Eisele, was born in Onawa, Iowa on July 4, 1935. She was raised in Onawa and later graduated from Spirit Lake High School in 1954.
On August 26, 1956, Sally was united in marriage to Darwin Will in Spirit Lake. Together they made their home in rural Spirit Lake, where they raised their family and farmed. Sally devoted her life to her family as a loving homemaker and farm wife.
Sally was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Terril and later in Spirit Lake. She was also active in the United Methodist Women in Terril. Sally was a longtime member of both the Gloria Chapter and Twilight Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, serving as Worthy Matron of each several times. She was honored to serve as Grand Representative to Arkansas and to Connecticut and as a Grand Chapter committee member in 1994.
She volunteered for many years as a Lakes Regional Healthcare “Pink Lady” and served on the Ladies Auxiliary Board. Sally was an avid bowler in both Terril and Spirit Lake and a devoted fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. She enjoyed countless miles on the motorcycle behind Darwin as they traveled across the United States together.
Sally passed away on October 21, 2025, at Accura Healthcare in Spirit Lake.
She is survived by her sons, Rodney (Tracey) Will of Milford and Trent (Beth) Will of Spirit Lake; grandchildren, Amanda (Dylan) Titterington, Alex (Rebeca) Will, Jennifer (Davin), and Gregory (Chloe); great-grandchildren, Claire and Cora Titterington and Owen Will; sister, Sandy Vovos of Portage, Wisconsin; brother-in-law, Arlyn Will of Mesa, Arizona; sister-in-law, Weyvon Will of Spencer, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Beulah Eisele; brothers-in-law, Robert Will and Bruce Will; sisters-in-law, Gwen Will and Janet Will; and her grandson, Clayton.
