Danny B. Cauthron

Dan was called on his next journey on Monday, March 17, 2025, at his home in West Siloam Springs, OK. He was born on December 5, 1951, in Seminole, OK, to Hal and Fay Cauthron.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Hal Jr.; son, Dennis Daniel; brother-in-law, Jay Provost; and mother-in-law, Se Sun Provost.
Dan married Jeanne (Provost) Cauthron on March 5, 1983, after hiring her to work in his restaurant, Taco Rio, in Choctaw, OK. Jeanne always liked to joke that Dan would not give her a raise, so she married him. They spent 42 years on their journey. They crossed over many mountains together and came out stronger.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne; daughter, Christy; grandchildren, Jacklyn, Terra, Andrew, and Careli; great-grandchildren, Kairi and Joss; twin sisters, Amy and Cynthia; nieces, Taylor, Lauren, Susan, Linda, and Melissa; nephew, Evertte; sisters-in-law, Nancy Cauthron and Michelle Miller; and father-in-law, Retired Major Ken Provost.
Dan wore many hats in life. He spent time clerking at 7/11, was a tire tech at Good Year, held a membership in the Carpenter's Union, was Garden Center manager for Lowe's, and was the grower/manager for several commercial greenhouses. For his final "job" he followed his heart, working at Christian Addicts and Alcoholics in Recovery (CAAIR) where he impacted many lives and was very grateful for the opportunity.
Dan always had an offbeat sense of humor and a sense of style that was his alone. In his honor, mismatched colorful socks, tie dye, and Hawaiian shirts are acceptable apparel.
