Peggy Marie Parker Cauthron, also known as Mee Maw, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the age of 89 years. She was born August 26,1936 to Bob O. "Snooks" and Dorothy (Blythe) Parker in the Six Mile Valley North of Booneville, Arkansas.

Peggy was a real estate agent for Booneville Realty and Western Arkansas Real Estate Company for almost half a century. Prior to her career in real estate Peggy worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Bill Parker and Dr. Charles Chalfant at the Booneville Medical Clinic. Peggy enjoyed people and served on the Booneville City Council. Peggy was an avid golfer once scoring a hole-in-one on hole #8 at Cherokee Creek Golf Course in Booneville. She loved working on her daily crossword puzzle and watching her favorite television shows The Andy Griffith Show and Jeopardy. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Booneville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob O. "Snooks" and Dorothy (Blythe) Parker. 1 brother, Bobby Wayne Parker.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 70 years, Billy Bob Cauthron of the home; one son, Mike Cauthron and wife Mindy of Fort Smith; 2 granddaughters, Micah and husband Jarred of Fort Smith and Heather Barret and husband David of Fort Smith; great grandchildren, Kate Rego, Parker Barret, David Rego, Thomas Barret, and Benjamin Rego all of Fort Smith; special friend Danna Day; other relatives and many friends.

Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, POBOX 328, Booneville, Arkansas, 72927

Visitation will be held prior to the service at the First Baptist Church in Booneville from 10:00A.M.-11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

A celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at The First Baptist Church in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
