Daniel, affectionately known as Danny, was a lifelong Port Isabel, Texas resident. He enjoyed his career as a shrimper and carpenter, but his role as a beloved Local Music Entertainer truly exemplified his love for the community. Whether playing his guitar or singing his original country songs, he knew how to bring people together and create joyous moments. Danny's vibrant spirit touched the hearts of many.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Leon Green; mother, Margaret Henrietta Green; sister, Elizabeth Phillips; and brothers, Norman Green and Richard Green.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Louise Tajan "Peggy," and brothers, James Leon Green Jr. and Gerald Bruce Green.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, TX.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Laguna Madre Humane Society, 417 1/2 E. Maxan St., Port Isabel, TX 78578, (956) 266-3140. https://www.lmhsclinic.com/
