Danielle Faulkner Leffler (known to everyone as Danny), went to be with the Lord on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, 2025. She was a resident of Eastville, VA, but a former native of Palm Beach County, FL. Danny was a graduate of Palm Beach High School, Class of 1957. Danny was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Glynn Leffler, whom she was married to for 55 years until his death in 2012. She also was preceded in death by her parents, Albert James Faulkner and Sarah Elizabeth Faulkner; and her youngest sister V. Divelle Dorris.
Danny was an active member of Lower Northampton Baptist Church where she served faithfully. She was a 50-year-member of the Order of The Eastern Star, of Itetta Sherman Chapter No. 145 in FL and Accomac Chapter No. 62, Chincoteague, VA. Danny adored her family and loved them fiercely. She loved preparing meals for others and thoroughly enjoyed her weekly get-togethers with friends to play cards.
Danny is survived by the following family members: sister S. Wynelle Faulkner Boykin, and brothers Jay Faulkner (Erika), Brady Faulkner (Debra), and Wally Faulkner (Robin). Danny cherished each moment spent with her children Dr. William Glynn Leffler, Jr. (Dr. Deborah Haas Leffler), Elizabeth Leffler Oraham (Gregory Karl Oraham), and Julie Leffler Wagner (Gary William Wagner). Her grandchildren and great grandchildren all called her “Granny”. Granny truly lived for her seven grandchildren, Rebecca Marie Leffler, Justin Todd Leffler, Richard James Oraham, Kristen Oraham Stephenson (Bret Linton Stephenson), Cole Gregory Oraham (Casey Singleton Oraham), Dr. Ashley Wagner Stahl (Dr. Chad Harmon Stahl), and Trisha Wagner Springer (Joseph Reese Springer Jr.). Granny’s life was blessed by her ten great grandchildren, Savannah Lane Stumbo (Justin Stumbo), Abigail Lynn Oraham, Mia Elizabeth Oraham, Jack Linton Stephenson, Wyatt Abram Stephenson, Charlotte Grace Stephenson, Maris Faulkner Wells, Ari Benjamin Stahl, Meyer Emmanuel Stahl and Heydin Ellis Guynn. She also has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws who will miss her dearly.
Danny didn’t just love her family; she lived for them.
A service celebrating Danny’s life will be held at Lower Northampton Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Conrow officiating. The date will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Northampton Baptist Church, c/o Annette Brown, 5425 Tyson Circle, Cape Charles, VA 23310.
