Danny Mead Obituary

Mr. Mead was born on August 21, 1948 in Lake Orion, Michigan, the son of Daniel E. Mead and Lila Katherine Clock Mead. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. His service took him to various places across the globe. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Warm Springs, as well as the American Legion. Mr. Mead enjoyed beekeeping and was a certified beekeeper. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carol Mead, step-daughter, Robin Guinn, brother, James Mead, and sister, Mary Reynolds.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Jessica Bennett; siblings, William P. "Bill" Mead of Hamilton, GA, Bobbie Fletcher of Melrose, FL, and Joy Jennings of Valdosta, GA; and several step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Warm Springs.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Warm Springs.
