Danny Galarza Padua

Danny Galarza Padua passed away on December 14, 2025. He was 49 years old.

Danny was born on January 6, 1976 in Beacon, the son of Haydee Soto and the late Luis Galarza. On August 31, 2001 he married the former Daisy Rivera. Daisy survives at home. Danny was currently employed by SavATree for the past year but had worked for several other landscaping companies over the years.

Danny was a social butterfly and made friends everywhere he went. Even when leaving the States, he was bound to run in to someone he knew. He loved the outdoors and fishing. He was very generous with his time and taught many of his nieces and nephews how to fish. He also was an instructor for a hunting safety course. Danny was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed going to games with friends and family.

Danny is survived by his wife, Daisy Padua; his son, Daniel L. Padua and his wife, Ashley and their children, Serenity and Daniel, Jr.; his daughter, Ariana Padua; he is also survived by many brothers and sisters; Luis A. Galarza and his wife, Valerie, Angel Galarza and his wife, Athena, Benny Galarza and his wife, Rose, Luis Galarza and his wife, Bonnie, Abraham "Abe" Galarza, and his wife, Wendy, Alberto "Ipi" Soto and his wife, Larina, Nellie Galarza Timmons and her husband Jeremy, Nancy Galarza Hallock and her husband Dennis, Judy Galarza Jimenez and her husband Jorge; his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Deizy Galarza and his brother, Moises Galarza.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, December 18 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, December 19 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Beacon.
