Danny Paul Patterson passed away October 29, 2024, on this 65th birthday at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa surrounded by his family.
Danny was born October 29, 1959, to Theodore Leon Patterson and Polly Ann (Alexander) Patterson in Greenville, Texas.
Danny attended Pawhuska High School where he met Donna Gray, whom he later married. Danny and Donna made their home in Pawhuska, Oklahoma with their three children Crystal, Sarah, and Daniel.
From an early age Danny had an interest in playing and digging in the dirt with his toy trucks. His fascination with digging in the dirt led Danny to a career as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Danny's enjoyment of digging in the dirt led him to one of his hobbies of medal detecting, where he would find coins and treasures. Danny was an avid coin collector, he enjoyed working in the yard, tinkering with cars, watching football, specifically the OU Sooners, and watching NASCAR. Danny loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and watching them participate in their many different activities. Danny will be greatly missed by all.
Danny is preceded in death by his father, Leon Patterson, his loving wife Donna (Gray) Patterson and his cousin and childhood best friend Toneh Chuleewah.
Danny is survived by his mother, Polly Patterson of the home, his brothers, Larry Patterson of Skiatook, Jimmy Patterson of Skiatook, Kelly Patterson of Skiatook, his daughters, Crystal (Patterson) Long and husband Adam of Pawhuska, Sarah Patterson of Pawhuska, his son Daniel Patterson of Pawhuska, his beloved grandchildren, Kellie (Slater) Reyes and husband Reggie, Karlie Long, Kameron Long, LillieAnn Thomas, Preslee Long and his great grandchildren Lukas, Landon and Parker Reyes as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
