Danny Frances Rosauer, age 67, of Denison, Iowa, passed away on January 1, 2026, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital, having attained the age of 67 years, four months, and 27 days.

Danny was born on August 5, 1958, and was baptized at St. Rose Catholic Church. He graduated from Denison High School with the class of 1977 and spent his working career at Denison Municipal Utilities as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

Danny greatly enjoyed sports, especially golfing, and spent many years coaching Little League and flag football alongside his brother, Tom. He loved playing cards with his family, taking his daily walks, and spending time with those he loved. He was affectionately known as “G.U.D.” to his great-nieces and great-nephews, a nickname that reflected the special place he held in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor and Thomas Rosauer, Sr.; his sisters, Judy Rosauer and Pat Rosauer; and his nephew, Harry Zimmer.

He is survived by his sister, Theresa (Harry) Zimmer of New Lenox, Illinois; his brother, Thomas Rosauer, Jr. of Denison; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Tim) Keber of New Lenox, Illinois; Joshua (Britney) Zimmer of Bentonville, Arkansas; Tracy (Jason) Mendlik of Denison; and Adam (Amy) Rosauer of Glenwood, Iowa; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

At this time, services and burial arrangements are pending.
