Danny Shackelford Obituary
Danny was born on December 8, 1958 in McAlester to J.W. Shackelford and Myrtle (Hardy) Shackelford. He married the love of his life, Alma Lewis, on March 30, 1978.
Danny graduated from Savanna High School with the Class of 1977. He worked as a carpenter, doing all aspects of construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Alma (Lewis) Shackelford; daughters: Jessica Johns and Jeff, and Melissa Shackelford and Tony; grandchildren: Alicia Johns, Travis Johns, Lucas Johns, Blake Shackelford and Bella, and Karlee Shackelford and Tim; great grandson, Levi Dean Shackelford; brothers: Johnny Shackelford, and Jerry Shackelford and Karen; sister, Carolyn Butler and Frank; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Danny is preceded in death by his mother and step-father: Myrtle and Raymond Goddard; father and stepmother, J.W. and Nora Shackelford; and brother, William Shackelford.
