Danny Mark Stevens, born on Tuesday, October 2, 1956, in Independence, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his residence in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, on Thursday, December 18, 2025. He touched the lives of many with his kind and respectful nature, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and adventure.
He was known for his adventurous spirit and love for life. His hobbies included skydiving, modifying anything he could get his hands on, and working on cars and motorcycles. He also had a deep-seated passion for aviation, embodying a sense of exploration that inspired those around him.
Danny is survived by his longtime companion, Belinda Bryant Turner, and his three sons: Aaron Stevens, Daniel Stevens, and Danny Stevens Jr. (Brandi Rose); his stepdaughter, Felicia Burns (Josh), and his brother, Larry Stevens (Teeny). He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Danny joins in rest his mother and stepfather, Beatrice Picou Kennedy and Winkie Kennedy, as well as his father, Ervin Stevens. He is reunited with his brother, Ricky Stevens, and sister, Carol Stevens, eternally together again.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Danny’s life during the visitation in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 S I-12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 10:30 AM until 1:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held starting at 1:00 PM, with a graveside service to follow at Sandhill Cemetery.
Danny Mark Stevens will be remembered for his adventurous life and his kindness.
