Danny Lee Vanderpool, age 78, of Hueysville, KY, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 in Prestonsburg, KY. He was born September 4, 1946 in Pikeville, KY, a son of the late Oscar and Shirley Stumbo Vanderpool. He was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church, a US Army Veteran and a self employed business owner.
He is survived by one son; Eric (Lisa) Vanderpool, Hueysville, KY, one daughter; Spring (Daniel) Barnes, Shepherdsville, KY, one brother; Mike (Dianna) Vanderpool, Lexington, KY, one sister; Diane Hall, Pikeville, KY, six grandchildren; Scott, Abigail, Kayla, Ashley, Lauren and Katelyn, six great grandchildren; Sullivan, Parker, Tanner, Carli, Lainey and Ellie Kate.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Fugate officiating. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
