Dante Gamble

Dante Eugene Gamble was born on May 22, 1984, to Harold Gordon, Jr., and Cindy Gamble, here in Columbus, Ohio.
He attended Dana Elementary and Barrett Middle School, then he moved to Kentucky and attended North Hardin High School. He later moved back to Columbus and attended South High School. He Later moved back to Columbus and attended South High School after that, Dante began to focus on community endeavors, building relationships, networking, and sustaining long-term friendships. He was very respected by the community and was an honorary member of the Heavy Metal Club.
Dante's life and legacy can be measured by the way that he made the people in the community feel. He will always be known and respected as a Legend. King Dante G Street Forever.
Dante was blessed to father three boys of his own and then to have two bonus children whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Drake; paternal grandparents, Harold Gordon, Sr. and Naomi Gordon; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives who we remember today.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Harold Gordon, Jr.; mother, Cindy Gamble; three sons, Dante Gamble, Jr., Diontae Gamble, and Dantavius Gamble; stepchildren, Faith Smith and MarQwuez Alexander Jr.; sisters, Teaira Gamble (Nate McGowan), Justice Gordon, Amaya Price and many cousins who were raised as sisters and brothers such as Mario Lewis, Erica Lewis, Deitra Cassell, Charles Hairston, and Quincy Lewis; uncles, Pastor Charles Lewis, Tyron Lewis, Shawn Gordon, Myron Gordon, and Christopher Harper; aunts, Dixie Lewis, Cecelia Gordon, Harolyn Gordon, Dawn Johnson, Angelique Gordon, and Tonya Griffth-Giles; and mothers of his children, Shavonna Smith, Sarafinah Wharton, and Ivory Hagwood. He will be greatly missed by those who had an opportunity to love him.
