DARIAN DEVON BUTLER

Darian “Coach Boog” Devon Butler, an educator and coach at ReNew Dolores T. Aaron Academy, passed away unexpectedly due to an automobile accident, on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the age of 26. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Darian was a graduate of Edna Karr High School. Loving son of Darren Von Hulbert, Sr. and Awayne Butler. Stepson of Lester Gonzalez. Devoted brother of David Butler, Darren Von James Hulbert, Darren Von Hulbert, Jr., Dwayna Butler and D’Arrenique Hulbert. Beloved grandson of Bernadette Butler Dumas, Louis Favorite, Jr. and the late Alvin Hulbert and  Dr. Georgia Ruth Hulbert. Great grandson of the late Julia White, Marie Odette Dumas and Marie Jeffery Dumas. Darian is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Household of Faith Church and all neighboring churches; faculty, staff and students of ReNew Dolores T. Aaron Academy are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Household of Faith Church 9300 I-10 Service Road, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Antoine M. Barriere, host pastor; Rev. Michael Mosley, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Will be Private.
