Darian Dashonne Hutchinson

A memorial service for Darian Dashonne Hutchinson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at East Leesville Baptist Church with Reverends Tommy Kiker and Gil Arthur officiating and Danique Ensley singing. The burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at East Leesville Baptist Church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Darian was born April 20, 1996, in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away May 9, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 29. He was a 2014 graduate of Leesville High School and attended Louisiana State University. At a young age, he was baptized at East Leesville Baptist Church. Watching sports was something Darian enjoyed, especially seeing LeBron James play. He had many interests including cooking, eating, dogs, hunting, and fishing and spent many hours videogaming with his brother, Kobe. Even though Darian fought health problems earlier in life, he did it with grace and trust. He set an example of how to face some of life's toughest challenges. He was a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend that will be remembered for his contagious smile and infectious laugh. Darian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert G. Hutchinson and Janice W. Hutchinson and aunts, Shenitha Taylor and Betty Jackson. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Jana K. Mayweather (Garrick) of Baton Rouge; father, Anthony Taylor of DeRidder, LA; his second father, Dennis Joiner of Leesville, LA brothers, Kobe D. Joiner of Lafayette, LA, Aundraye Allen (Ray) of Round Rock, TX, and Dennis Joiner II (Ashley) of Denham Springs, LA; sisters, A'miya Taylor of DeRidder, LA and Megan Joiner (Chris) of Leesville, LA; grandparents, Annie P. Taylor Stewart and Edward Stewart of DeRidder, LA; niece, Arya Allen; and a host of extended family members and friends.
