Darius Brooks Obituary
DJ was born to Elonda Fortune and Edwin Brooks on January 24, 2005 in North Richland Hills. From childhood until his last moment DJ was a caretaker, protector and hero. Although he was taken too soon his strength and courage will be remembered forever.
He is survived by his beautiful mother, Elonda Fortune; his proud father, Edwin Brooks; his best and only brother, Tre Fortune; half sisters, Keyona Brooks and Lace Rodriguez; grandparents, Charles and Teri Jamerson; his soulmate and twin flame, Jaylynn Day; and Godmother, Roselyn Oyegoke; as well as many family members and friends that are family, that make his village.
Dj was preceded by his Meme and Poppy Cathie and Tommy Fortune, his Grandmother Eleanor Lacy, and many other angels.
