Darla Jean Hollis Riska

Darla J. Hollis Riska, 66, of Chester, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on June 7, 1959, in Jamestown, New York, Darla was the cherished daughter of the late Richard Hollis and Dolores (Luden) Hollis Spinks.
Darla was a 1977 graduate of Oil City Senior High School. She earned an associate degree in Occupational Therapy from Kent State University and worked for many years as a Certified Occupational Therapist with the East Liverpool City School District. She also attended the Ohio Valley School of Massage Therapy and was deeply devoted to her clients, with whom she shared close and meaningful relationships. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched through her work.
Darla enjoyed photography, spending time at Lake Erie, watching her talented husband perform with the Mad River Men band, and being outdoors, especially hiking.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 21 years, Chuck Riska; her daughters, Hope Cameron (Russell) and Chelsea Hunt (James); her grandchildren, Nick, David, Aiden, Jude, Allister, and Hazel; her brothers, Mike and Richard Hollis; and her sisters, Carla Farnstrom (Kirk) and Rebecca Steg.
