When Darlene worked at Fred's she overheard me saying I was a dollar short. That sweet lady walked up to me, and put one in my hand. From then, we became friends. She helped me way more than I helped her throughout the years. She was always so giving, and would hardly accept things in return. Her loss will be hard. There aren't many people like her. God rest her sweet soul.
