Darlene Ann Babbitt, 93, of Wilton, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Spring Brook Assisted Living Center in Onalaska, Wisconsin. She was born June 15, 1932, in Cashton, Wisconsin to Vernon and Phoebe Meseberg. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Babbitt, her daughter Jane Babbitt; and parents Vernon and Phoebe Meseberg. Darlene worked at, and retired from, Wilton Elementary School. Darlene enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards with family and friends, bowling, dancing and family vacations. Darlene enjoyed overnight trips, with her loving husband Paul, to various Casinos. Darlene always stated the only thing she wanted was to always be with her loving husband Paul.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy (Terry) McIntyre of La Crosse, WI; grandchildren William (Melissa) Cannady of Peekskill, NY, Emmanuel (Eve) Cannady of Harrisburg, PA, Serena Bohn of Mondovi; step grandchildren Jami (Adam) Mandel of Dallas, TX, David (Erika)McIntyre of Morrisonville, WI; sisters Genevieve Westerman of La Crosse, Elaine McKee of La Crosse, Carol (Rick) Brandau of Holmen and brother James Meseberg of Union Grove; nieces Diana (Merwyn) Smith of Hot Springs, AR; Betty Senske of Southlake, TX; Jana Frost of New Hampton, IA; Bonnie (Jeff) Henn of New Hampton, IA, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, 11:00 A.M., St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 401 Mill St. Wilton. Pastor Karen Sparling will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com
