In Loving Memory of Darlene M. Barnick
Darlene M. Barnick passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Darlene was born in St. Paul, MN, where she spent many cherished years with her family and friends. She was fortunate to follow one of her dreams and moved to live on a lake with her beloved husband, Fred, where she enjoyed the four seasons and the abundance of wildlife.
To the age of 81, Darlene maintained her high school friendships through the "Club", meeting for dinners, parties, and many life events. She will be deeply missed by the friends she made as a Lions member, the birthday club ladies, and the community in Litchfield.
Darlene is survived by her devoted husband, Fred Barnick; her three children, Jeffery (Cindy) Barnick, Jennifer Germscheid (Roger), and Michele (Mark) Coopet; she was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren, Joshua Barnick, Renae Barnick, and Mavik Germscheid; Darlene is also survived by two of her siblings, Marilyn Wegscheider and Shirley Buxton.
We believe she will be reunited with those who have preceded her, including her parents, Mary and Ernest Wegscheider; and her brother, Thomas Wegscheider; along with other beloved family members.
Memorial service on Monday, November 18 at 11 AM at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home- Roseville, 2130 N. Dale Street (at County Road B). Visitation from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. We invite everyone to attend her interment immediately following the service at Roselawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Darlene's wish was for donations to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, honoring her generous spirit and dedication to helping others.
Darlene's legacy of love, friendship, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
