Mrs. Darlene "Dean" Boyles, 67, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Mobile, AL on Wednesday, June 18, 1958, to the late Joe Samuel Kelly, Sr. and Mattie Elizabeth Kelly. She was a member of Boyles Chapel Church. She worked in the registrar's office at the University of Mobile and later became a CNA in Public Health Care.
Mrs. Boyles is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Samuel Kelly, Sr. and Mattie Elizabeth Kelly. She is survived by her husband of 5 years, Keith Boyles of Waynesboro, MS; son, Stephen Rouss (Allison) of Chunchula, AL; daughter, Sarah Rouss Naramore (Roman Kyle) of Mobile, AL; three brothers, Joe S. Kelly, II of Theodore, AL, James D. Kelly (Rhonda) of Mobile, AL, and David K. Kelly (Pam) of Chatom, AL; two sisters, Angie Hooker of Wilmer, AL and Robbie Edmond (Mark) of Eight Mile, AL; five grandchildren, Sophie Rouss, Charlie Rouss, Anna Ruth Rouss, Roman Naramore, and Gavin Naramore; aunt, Virginia Guy; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Visitation for Mrs. Boyles will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 17, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Marvin Griffin and Rev. Tom Walker officiating. Interment will be in Maynor Creek Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
