Darlene Brown Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ingram Funeral Home - Marysville on Jun. 24, 2025.
Darlene Elaine Brown, age 68, of Marysville, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Born on December 10, 1956, in Tiffin, Ohio, Darlene was the daughter of the late Owen Snyder and Erika Kramer. She grew up in Tiffin and attended local schools before eventually settling in Marysville, where she made her home and left her mark on everyone she met.
Darlene was a straight-shooter who told it like it was, no filter needed. She had a fiery spirit, a strong will, and a soft spot for animals-especially the cats who often rivaled her dogs in size and attitude. She had a deep love for the open road and could often be found cruising on her Harley with classic rock blaring in the background.
She enjoyed quiet time at home working on cross-stitch and quilting projects, and took pride in her efforts to keep her flowers alive-though she'd tell you the weeds often won. Darlene worked many years on third shift at Scotts in Marysville and devoted herself to caring for her son, Michael, until his passing in 1998.
Her life took a new turn when she sold a van to Darryl Floyd and later tracked him down on her motorcycle. That bold move began a love story that would span decades. The two became inseparable, sharing a life full of grit, laughter, and deep connection of the open road.
She is survived by her son, Shawn Brown of Marysville; her partner, Darryl Floyd of Marysville; and his daughter, Angie Floyd, who Darlene considered family.
In addition to her son, Michael, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ted Collins.
Memorial contributions may be made in Darlene's honor to Ingram and Snyder Funeral Home to assist with final arrangements.
