Darlene Dassow Obituary
Darlene A. Dassow, 91, of Goodrich, was called home on June 21, 2024 at Colonial Health and Rehab, under the care of St. Croix Hospice.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Darlene was born on May 25, 1933 to Max and Vernetta (Winchell) Wilke in Dorchester. She married Raymond Dassow on June 8, 1953 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Together they owned and operated a small dairy farm in the Town of Goodrich, then a small dairy farm in the Town of Holway for seven years, until her retirement in 1992.
Darlene enjoyed gardening, fishing, making crafts, being outside, and farming.
Darlene is survived by her children, Debra (James) Knippel of Medford, Roger Dassow of Colby, Penny Dassow of Medford, and Raymond (Kathy) Dassow of Colby; grandchildren, Sadie (Tim) Ahlers of Ogema, Gene (Bethany) Gallistel of Milwaukee, Preston Vaughan of Oshkosh, and Emerson Knippel of Stevens Point; great-grandchildren, Harlie (Zach Wojcik) Ahlers and Brier Ahlers, both of Ogema. Darlene is further survived by other family and friends.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray, and siblings, Hilda (Louie) Boxrucker, Norman (Ruth) Wilke, Bernice (Jim) Beck, and Betty (Gene) Faber.
