Darlene Patsy Kenny

NEW PALESTINE - Darlene Patsy (LaGue) Kenny, age 91, from Hillsboro, Indiana passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, at Woodland Terrace of New Palestine, where she had lived for the last few years. Born on June 12, 1934, in Lafayette, Indiana to Roy and Pearl LaGue the youngest of 11 children. Darlene married Stanley N. Kenny on October 31, 1953; they will be celebrating this year together for their 72nd anniversary. Stan passed away May 24, 2022.
Darlene was a graduate of Jeff High School in Lafayette. Stan & Darlene moved to Hillsboro, Indiana for Stan to continue his career as an Indiana State Trooper. They bought property, built a home and raised their family. Darlene worked for Southeast School District for 40 years in several different capacities. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, reading, golfing, attending Purdue Football and Basketball games (Go Boilermakers) & traveling.
Darlene is survived by her children: Pam Skinner (Bill) & Jeff Kenny (Sandie); 3 grandchildren; Sarah Wright (Joe), Laura Dority (Jason), Rachel Turner (Thomas), great grandchildren Andrew, Lillian, Scarlett, Oliver, Ellis, Rosalie, Archer and her cat Amber. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings.
A celebration of life will be planned for the future.
