Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not here, I do not sleep, I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond's gift of snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the autumn's gentle rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in a circle flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry: I am not there I did not die.

Darlene gave my dad John Novack a year of happiness after my moms passing. She was a witty woman whom my dad thoroughly enjoyed being around, sharing a similar sense of humor. I enjoyed my visits with both of them. When dad became ill she was always at his side including when he passed.

We were so sad to hear of the passing of Darlene. She was such a kind lady. She took my mom, Carol, under her wing and always looked out for her. They went on many adventures together with Darlene being the driver since she was the youngest. Many happy memories remain of trips, shopping and eating out. She will definitely be missed.
