Darlene McClellan Wallace, age 65, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.
She was the daughter of James McClellan and Lillian Lynch McClellan, and a native of Rutherford County. Darlene loved her cat Molly. She was a loving, daughter, sister, and aunt, and she will be dearly missed. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Michael Wallace, and one brother, Jimmy McClellan.
In addition to her parents Darlene is survived by her sister, Sheri Via and husband Milton, her brother, Timothy McClellan and wife Janeen, niece, Makana McClellan, and nephews, Joshua, and Lucas McClellan, niece, Jessica Robbins (Tray), grandnephews, Max, and Chase Robbins, and many cousins that she loved dearly. A special thank you to Tracy Waters and family for their loving care for Darlene.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, May 13, 2022, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The memorial service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 13, 2022, with Reverend Dr. Jeff Pate, and Bill Lynch (uncle) officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills; P O Box 336; Forest City, NC 28043. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
