Darnel Tunson Obituary

Darnell Tunson lovingly knowing as "Mummy" or 4-Deuce" was born on February 12,1957 in Assumption Parish to the late Ada Shaw and the late Ernest Cunningham. On September 23, 2025 God called him home at the age of 68 surrounded by the love of his family.
Darnell was baptized at the Cannan Baptized Church. He retired from Landry Farm. His presence brought comfort and wisdom that left a mark on all who knew him.
Darnell leaves to cherish his memories his children (4) daughters Danielle, Erica, Candace Davis of Paincourtville and Christina Williams of Donaldsonville (3) sons Dontrell and Darin Davis and Nathan Williams of Paincourtville, (13) grandchildren (4) sisters Dorothy Harden, Geraldine(Lawrence) Davis, Rose Coleman of Paincourtville, Betty Coleman of Thibodaux (4) brothers Gerald Coleman of Paincourtville, Edward Tunson of Baton Rouge, Ronald Shaw of Donaldsonville, Ernest Coleman of Thibodaux. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ada Shaw and Ernest Cunningham (1) sister Patricia Coleman and (1) brother Gerald Coleman. His maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles (1) niece Germaine Davis and (2) nephews Troy Tunson Sr. and Michael Williams.
