Guyton- Darnell Wilson, 72, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Memorial Health.
Darnell was an avid hunter, fisherman, and great craftsman. He loved running his dogs and anything being outdoors. Darnell was an honorary member of the Gold Trigger Hunting Club. He loved to sing, was always willing to help anyone. He was a Big Cut Up, loved making people laugh and get on their last nerve. He never met a stranger.
Darnell worked and retired from Herty Foundation, then Barnett- Williams where he was a project Manager over all… Darnell loved God, his beautiful wife, family, and his buddy, Liam.
Darnell will be remembered for his strength, hardwork and his love for those close to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bobby Lewis.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his son, Darnell, Jr. (Mark); his daughter, Jennifer Wilson; sister, Joyce Thompson (Mack); 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; and his Best Buddy, Liam Hughes.
Visitation: 11am – 12 Noon Friday, November 14, 2025 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 12 Noon Friday, November 14, 2025 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Powers Baptist Church Cemetery in Eden.
