Rose Mary Tebeau

Springfield – Rose Mary Tebeau, 80, passed away November 14, 2025 at Ogeechee Area Hospice.

The Effingham County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield. She retired as a property assessor with Hillsborough County, Florida. She worked at the Ratchford Firm after retirement. Rose Mary was very involved in her church, as she had served as Administrative Assistant in the church office, years of service with the Weekday Education Ministry, a greeter on Sunday mornings, working in the kitchen to feed children for VBS & Awana, involved in the Good News Club & God's Mission House, and any time children needed to be served and taken care of, she was there to help in any way. Rose Mary was also a very loving and caring Aunt, who was always involved in the lives of her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther & Louise "Sister" Tebeau; sister-in-law, Patricia Tebeau; niece, Rochelle Tebeau; aunt & uncle, Evelyn "Ebby" & Franklin Tebeau.

Survivors include her brothers, Bobby Tebeau and Billy Tebeau (Sue); sister, Evelyn Graham (Carey); nieces and nephews, Randal Tebeau (Lisa), Sheldon Tebeau (Becky), Patrick Tebeau (Mindy), Marcie Mingledorff, Loy Graham (Shelly), Joy Lanier (Russ), Ron Graham (Ali), Lee Wilkes, and Susie Villarreal; 13 great-nieces/nephews; 1 great-great nephew; special friends, Minnie & Tom Edmonds; her Church Family, and her beloved dog, Mia.

Visitation: 10 – 11 am Monday, November 17, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Springfield.

Funeral: 11 am Monday, November 17, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Springfield.

Interment: Union Cemetery
