Darrell Keith Bailey entered into Beulah Land on February 28, 2022. He was born to Leslie & Thelma Bailey ( Barker ) on May 31, 1957.
In 1983, Darrell married Connie G Bailey ( Mallory ), a match truly made in heaven. Darrell & Connie added to their little family with Jeremy Bailey. Darrell was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. He loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of the Almighty God, with as many people as possible. He was a member of Stone Mountain Missionary Baptist after being saved at Sulphur Springs Primitive Baptist Church at the age of nine.
Darrell joins his parents, Leslie & Thelma Bailey; mother and father in law, Earl & Edna Mallory; his brother, Howard Alvin; sisters, Norman Trent, Wilma Sue Trent, Carol Helton, Guneva Mckinney, Cleo Spriggs, and Mary Ellen Coffey; godgrandson, Gavin Short in death.
He is survived by many loving family members, including his wife, Connie Bailey; son, Jeremy Bailey (wife Jessica); granddaughter, Keilyn Edna-Jane Bailey; brothers, Charles Bailey (Wife Pam), Jimmy Bailey, HL Bailey (Wife Curly); sisters, Kathy Lawson (husband Anthony), Rita Manis ( husband Tim); goddaughter, Angel Short; godson, Daniel Bailey; god grandsons, Colton Short, Mason Short, Corbin Short, and Devin Bailey; god granddaughter, Dakota Bailey; and many nieces and nephews that he loved as his own children.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Eddie Elkins and Rev. Larry Helton officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday in Trent Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Bailey, Lance Rutledge, Derrick Mallory, Daniel Bailey, Jimmy Bailey, Tyler Tunnell, Chad Mallory. Honorary Pallbearers are Colton Short, Mason Short, Corbin Short, and Devin Bailey. Online condolences may be sent at ww.christiansells.com.
