Darrell was employed with General Motors where he worked assembly line for 39 years retiring in March of 2016. In retirement, Darrell and Rhonda enjoyed RV camping all throughout Michigan. One of their newest endeavors was visiting Lighthouses across Michigan. They loved camping at Sleeper Campgrounds in the thumb. However, Darrell’s favorite campground was the Holly campgrounds.
If Darrell wasn’t camping, the summers were spent on his rider mower, not only mowing his lawn, but everyone else’s on the street. He loved hunting and this is something he taught his two boys to do when they were young.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Rhonda Brilinski; his two sons, Jeremy (Sara) Brilinski and Jeff (Tiffany) Brilinski; 4 grandchildren, Michaela Woods, Reagan Brilinski, Barrett Brilinski and Jack Brilinski; his brother, Dale (Pam) Brilinski and mother-in-law, Jean Lorence.
In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Donna Marie; father-in-law David Rose and stepfather -in-law, Albert Lorence.
