Darrell Even Obituary
Darrell was a long- time resident of Colville, who passed away at his home on March 20, 2026.
Born in 1939, he was raised on the east coast and met his wife Vivian in high school. After marrying, they moved west, eventually to Colville, Where Darrell worked for the Forest Service.
He enjoyed the outdoors, working in the forest, working in his garden, traveling the world, and striking up conversations with people wherever he went.
He was a questioner of life, always seeking answers to his many questions.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian; daughter, Christina (John); grandchildren, Christopher (Lucille), Amanda, and Josh; brother Dan (Kathy), his brother John's wife, Bernadette; and other family, particularly nieces, Allison (Trae) and Jo (Dwayne). He was preceded in death by his son, Chris.
A donation of your presence to help Vivian's yard or garden or to do a kindness to another would be the perfect gift.
A celebration of liife will be held on Saturday, April 18, at 2:00 P.M. at the Colville Free Methodist Church, 1221 E Hawthorne.
