Darrell Lee Frenzel Jr.

Darrell Lee Frenzel, Jr., 48, of Cumberland, MD and originally of Frostburg, MD, passed away peacefully at his home of unexpected natural causes on Wednesday, January 29, 2026.

Born August 11, 1977, in Meyersdale, PA, he was the son of the late Darrell Lee and Dixie Lee Frenzel, Sr..

Darrell was a 1995 graduate of the Career Center and Beall High School, and attended Frostburg State University. He enjoyed the outdoors especially while fishing, following pro football and was a Steelers fan, and loved caring for his cats.

Surviving him is his wife of 22 years, Karry (Mease) Frenzel; sister, Lee Ann Hawkins and husband Thomas; brother, Bobby Frenzel; parent-in-laws and friends, Garry and Janet Mease; his large extended family; his South Branch river family that loved watching him bring in "big" fish; and his cat fur children, Bella and Charlie.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
