Darrell Walter Gore. Age 73 of Brownstown.
Darrell passed away with his family by his side on August 10th, 2022. Darrell is survived by his children, Adam (Megan) Gore and Seth (Tonya) Gore; granddaughter Makenna Gore; and siblings Karen (Tom) Sabon and Gary (Debbie) Gore. Darrell will also be missed by his loving companion Sharon Makowsky. He is preceded in death by his parents Chester and Josephine Gore. Darrell Gore was born on May 15th 1949 in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Lincoln Park High School in 1967 and went on to attend Wayne State University where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. Darrell worked as a postal worker but his true passion was performing with his guitar and singing in multiple bands such as The Mastertones from Southgate, MI and The Unrelated Segments from Taylor, MI in the 1960s. He continued to play with various bands at multiple venues throughout the years. Music always filled his home along with the beautiful wood furniture he restored, displaying his creativity and love for the arts. Darrell was quite the jokester, always making everyone laugh. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, baseball and spending time with his friends and family, especially his granddaughter, Makenna. No memorial service or funeral is planned. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the National Kidney Foundation.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory, located within Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
