Timothy Murphy Obituary
Tim was born in Detroit and graduated from Troy Athens High School. He went on to get a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Central Michigan University and then a Masters Degree in Library Science from Wayne State University. He then worked as a technical and research librarian in the automotive industry.
Time filled his free time with kayaking, spending many hours on the water alone and with fellow enthusiasts. He also enjoyed cooking, travelling, and attending car shows with friends. he always looked forward to his regular lunches with his close friends.
Beloved son of the late Francis and Elizabeth Murphy. Brother of Michael and Brian Murphy. Uncle to Billie Jean and Samantha.
His kindness and good humor will be sorely missed by his friends and family.
A memorial service will be announced at a future date due to Tim's brother Mike's inability to travel from his home in Mexico. He is recuperating from a hip replacement.
