Darrell Don Green Sr., age 85, of Mt. Pleasant TX., passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Mt. Pleasant TX. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, and the family will accept friends from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant TX.
Darrell Sr. was born on September 8, 1939, in Cunningham TX., to George W. Green and Dorothy M. (Sain) Green. He was an auto mechanic and the owner-operator of A-J Service Center in Mt. Pleasant TX., where his children carry on his legacy and continue to serve the community.
He is survived by sons; Darrell Green Jr. and wife Rachel, Michael Green and wife Shawna, and Kerry Green and wife Brinda, his grandchildren; Blakely Green, Alexis Green-Miller (Dalton Miller), Brennan Green(Laney Duton), Chris Fodge, Kale Gloth, Michael J. Green, Kallie Green, Kendal Green, Donna Green, Amanda Green, Glen Coleman, Keri Ann Ledesma, Edgar Ledesma, his great-grandchildren; Ryleigh Miller, Remington Miller, Halston Green, Lucas Green, Landen Green, Marcus Davis, Cloie Davis, Evelyn Richardson, Briyan Ledesma, Christian Ledesma, Jonathan Ledesma, Ellie Anna Ledesma, Emily Ledesma, Keelen Coleman, great-great grandchildren; Kora Lee, Karson Kinsly, and Amari Armour.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Carol Lynn Green, and his parents, George and Dorothy Green.
