Darrell Morrow was born January 30, 1948, in Seattle, Washington, to William and Jessie (Bailey) Morrow and passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at his home in Milford at the age of 76.
Darrell enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served overseas during the Vietnam War. Upon his discharge, he attended Miro Costa Community College in Oceanside, CA, in 1976. Darrell worked at Dudley's, delivering uniforms, Haefer Steel in Sand Diego, CA, and also the Nebraska Department of Corrections in Madison and Lancaster counties.
He was united in marriage to Carol Cheyney in 1968 in Stanton, NE, and from this union two children were born, Angelia and Terry Morrow. Darrell was an avid golfer, he enjoyed to hunt, and loved to travel with his wife.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Carol, Milford NE; daughter Angelia Koenig, Milford, NE; son Terry (Kristi) Morrow; Lincoln, NE; grandchildren Derek (Francine) Morrow Koch, Lincoln, NE; Karlee Koch; Samantha Koch; Riley (Chloe) Slezak; Jaxon Morrow, Lincoln; NE; great-grandchildren: Kinzleigh Morrow Koch; Triston Reynolds; Octavia Morrow Koch; Emari Morrow Koch; Fletcher Drews; Michael Slezak; Gabriel Villanueva; and half-sister Barbara Schreppel.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents William and Jessie Morrow, uncle Morris Akers; brothers David and Aarin Morrow; sister Wilma Lee See; sister-in-law Doretta (Totsie) Morrow; parents-in-law, Donald, and Pearl Cheyney.
Memorials are to be given to the DAV- Disabled American Veterans, or the Marine Corps League.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 17, at the Lauber Funeral Home in Milford, from 11:00 am.-1:00 pm with family greeting and receiving friends and relatives.
Services will be held Saturday, February 17, at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home Chapel in Milford.
