Darrell Quick Obituary
In addition to his beloved wife of sixty-seven years, Darrell is survived by his children, Kim McCormick of Belle Rive, Lisa Quinn and husband, Mark of Mount Vernon, Tim Quick and wife, Mindy of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Michael Flota and wife, Dana of Woodlawn, Brittani Kiesow and husband, Dale of Woodlawn, Denton McCormick and wife, Kassi of Mount Vernon, Elle Quinn and significant other, Seth Williams of Mount Vernon, Justine Quick of Vista, California, Jason Quick and significant other, Reed of San Diego, California, Janese Quick Leung and husband, Kevin of Alexandria, Virginia, Sarah Bilderbeck of McLeansboro, Illinois, and Dustin McCormick of McCleansboro, Illinois; great-grandchildren, Daven Flota, Dasen Flota, Brynli Kiesow, and Quade McCormick.
In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his sister, Yulondia Nolen.
Darrell working in the banking industry as a loan officer and Vice President at Bank of Illinois. He retired from the Credit Network. He enjoyed years of boating and camping with friends. After retirement, Darrell and Nancy spent twenty years in Florida where they enjoyed golfing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Darrell loved his family dearly.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 pm with Mr. J. Howard Kraps officiating. Memorials may be made in Darrell's honor to SSM Health at Home Hospice.
