Darrell “Craig” Reasons, a resident of Brownsville, TN, passed away on October 12, 2024, at the Regional One Health in Memphis, TN. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at the Brownsville Baptist Church. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at the Brownsville Baptist Church. 

Craig was born on May 28, 1963, in Brownsville, TN and was raised in Memphis, TN. He attended Evangelical Christian School (ECS) in Memphis, TN. He graduated from Union University in Jackson, TN. He later attended Mid-America Seminary in Memphis, TN and Southwest Community College in Memphis, TN. He worked as a guidance counselor at the Hope Center for Boys in Texas. He later became Marketing Director for M.I.C. He loved music and was a talented musician. After moving to Brownsville, TN, Craig attended Jackson State Community College. He was currently employed at Tripp Country Hams.

Craig Reasons is survived by his parents, Danny and Barbara Reasons of Brownsville, TN; his best friends, Bill Van den Bosch and his wife, Michelle of Bells, TN; two uncles, Douglass Reasons of Bells, TN, and Danny Smith of Loudon, TN. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Louise Smith, and his paternal grandparents, Roy and Mary Reasons. 

The family has requested memorials be made to Brownsville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 177, Brownsville, TN 38012, or to the charity of the donor’s choice. All arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
