Darrell, age 57, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, October 31, 2021. He supported his family as an independent businessman, working hard as a safety manager for many years. He was a member of the Livingston Masonic Lodge #160, also a Past Patron of the Nova Stella #36 OES of Ponchatoula, and a member of Rachael Jackson #241 OES of Hammond. Darrell never met a stranger and once you were his friend, his priority was making you happy. His passions in life were hunting, fishing, traveling up in the mountains and the colder the weather the better he enjoyed it. Darrell was a "gifted chef", who specialized in and fine-tuned his barbeque techniques by cooking outdoors practically seven days a week. Darrell was a loving husband, daddy, grandfather, brother, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew him.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Lora Quave Silvers; daughters, Amber Silvers, ; Angel Howell (Jarred Perrin), Jody Pinion (Jean Pinion), and Kayla Howell; grandchildren, Payton, Landen, Phoebe, Willow, Daniel, and a precious unborn granddaughter, Hunter; brother, Timothy Silvers; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Darrell is preceded in death by his son Sean Daniel Silvers; parents, Malcolm and Billie Jean Silvers; and brother Wayne Silvers.
