Lawrence "Noble" Silvers, 90 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Noble was born May 17, 1935 in Warrensburg, son of Ernest Monroe Silvers and Znova (Cox) Silvers. He was united in marriage to Pauline Shirley Nichols on August 20, 1960 in Coal, Missouri. He farmed north of Warrensburg for the majority of his working life. Noble was also a heavy equipment operator for eight years, having worked on the Truman Dam and KCI airport. More recently, he did highway construction in Kansas City. Noble was a member of Heavy Equipment Local #101. He was also a pilot in years past. He loved rhythm guitar and singing Leland Jones and Alladee Franklin music.
He is survived by; sister: Christine Hillen of Warrensburg, MO and brothers-in-law: John (Helen) Nichols; Dale (Gayle) Nichols; sister-in-law Mary Nichols and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline in 2018; two sisters: Lorene Maloney and Lillian Marr; three brothers: Robert Silvers, Clinton Silvers and C.W. Silvers, and brother-in-laws Frank Nichols, James Nichols and wife Judy.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2nd at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg, with Noble's nephew, Steve Hillen officiating. Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Nichols, Mark Nichols, Darren Nichols, Geoff Orick, Frank Vincent, and Clifford Nichols.
The family will receive friends, one hour prior to service, Wednesday at Williams.
