Breaux Bridge- A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, November 17, 2025 at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Darrell "Darro" Thibodeaux, 82, who passed away on November 13, 2025 with his family by his side.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until service time.
A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM on Sunday.
Rev. Troy Romig will officiate at the funeral service.
Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Darrell was a devoted husband, father, and friend, known for his deep love for his family and his unwavering work ethic in the oil field industry. An active member of the Knights of Columbus, Darrell enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, and cooking for his family and friends, creating lasting memories with those he loved.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Beverly Barlow Thibodeaux; children, Marty Thibodeaux, Rachel (Dodd) Gravouilla, Wanda (Chad) Lastrapes, Dawn (Billy) Buras, Chance Thibodeaux and Bethany Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Chase (Chelsy) Gravouilla, Trey (Maci) Gravouilla, Darian (Montrel) Buras, Alaynee (Scott) Thibodeaux, Courtney Lastrapes, Cody Lastrapes and Lane Thibodeaux; and siblings, Clayus Thibodeaux, Elsie Terracino and Elma Trahan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Essie and Agnes Stout Thibodeaux; grandchild, Noah Buras; sister, Arlene Talley Ezzell; and his brother-in-law, Stanley Trahan.
Pallbearers will be Chase Gravouilla, Trey Gravouilla, Dodd Gravouilla, Larry Dees, Randy Sexton and Danny Kenly, Sr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Lastrapes, Lane Thibodeaux, Nolan Thibodeaux and T.J. Thibodeaux.
Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
