Mr. Darrell Gene Turner, 45, of Ashville, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Mr. Turner was a 1996 graduate of Moody High School and was a crane operator for Valtir Inc. for the past eight years. He is survived by his wife, Amy Turner; daughter, Kelsey Turner (John Michael); sons, Triston Turner (Savannah) and Ryan Turner; eight grandchildren; mother and stepfather, Phiffie and Victor Vankus; father and stepmother, Morris and Lisa Turner; brother, Kevin Turner (Telisa); and nieces, Hayley Turner and Macie Turner. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023. The funeral ceremony will be held at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023, with Bro. Shane Bearden officiating.
