Darrell Wayne Holland Sr., of Arlington, Texas passed away on November 30, 2021 at the Medical City of Arlington Texas.
He was born on April 5, 1967 in St. Louis Missouri to Dr. Tyrone R. Holland Sr. and the late Mattie S. Holland.
Darrell graduated from Ouachita Parish High School May 1986. He attended Northeast University now known as ULM in Monroe, LA and proceeded to serve in the military for six years, as an Army Specialist E-4 of the First Cavalry Division in the United States Army and a Gulf War Era Veteran. As a result, he retired as a disabled Veteran. He received Christ as his Lord and Savior.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his spouse Meredith Lynn Holland, two sons, Darrell W. Holland Jr.(aka Moosie), and Maurice L. Gilmore Arlington, TX ; his father Dr. Tyrone R. Holland Sr. (Sheila aka Momma Sheila) Monroe, LA; three brothers, Tyrone R. Holland Jr. (aka Ty) Arlington, TX, Sygmon Holland (Lisa) Monroe, LA, Noah Reko Holland (aka) Scratch Preacher (Kysha) Fort Worth, TX; Two sisters, Talola Bowie, Shanta Holland (aka Bay) Haltom City, TX. He has two stepbrothers, Jermain Robinson Ruston, LA, Tyrone Robinson (Ayanna) Dallas, TX; two stepsisters, LaShonda Robinson Wilkerson aka Bird (Roy) Tallulah, LA, Vondra M. Rogers (aka) Vee (Wardell) District Heights, MD and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins and friends.
