Darren Gohring

Darren age 54 has sadly passed away in his home in South Bloomfield OH, on January 12 2023. He has had some medical issues that contributed to his passing.
Darren was born on September 26, 1968 to Helen Gohring and Robert Gohring in Columbus, Ohio. He grew up in German Village and Graduated from Columbus South High School where he shared and valued many childhood friendships. He worked for Nationwide Insurance for many years and also had his CDL/heavy equipment operator license. He was formerly married to April Lynch which he had two girls with named Stephanie and Heather Gohring. Most of all Darren was proud of what his daughters had accomplished and always pushed them to have and do better than what he had growing up.
He had a passion for traveling, deer hunting, comedy, going to amusement parks to ride roller coasters, and for just being outdoors. As a young kid/adult he liked Tasmanian devil, comic books, collecting coins and hanging out with his cousins rather it be in German Village or out at his Uncle Roger and Aunt Sue's house.
He loved animals and had many including his beloved iguana Taz, his dogs Sheba, Oliver, and many cats over the years, including the most recents Smokey and Bandit.
Darren is survived by his three brothers Jeffery(Julie), Rodney(Sally), and Brian. His nieces/nephews: Jessica, Ricky, Ronald.
There will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony that will be held on Saturday January 28, 2023 from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the VFW in Circleville, OH. Address is: 1096 Tarlton Rd Circleville, OH 43113.
