Darrick "Snooty Darnell McCray began his journey of life January 21, 1970 united to his parents, James Earl McCray, Sr. and Helen Ruth (McNair) McCray. The resting point of his journey began on October 3, 2025 at 12:54 p.m. at the age of 55 years. Both parents preceded him in their resting place as well as a daughter "Sparkle" and his eldest sibling, Phyllis McNair.
He leaves to cherish many memories two daughters, Montecia Griffin and Taniasha Elkins; four precious grands, Maja Jelks, Keontae Jelks, Son'Ja Amos and Messiah Amos; sister, Fredia McCray Chandler; brother, James McCray, Jr. (Marilyn); a host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves to cherish memories uncles, aunties, cousins and many friends that in his life has served as family.
The family extends special thanks to our niece, Marshawn McNair, brothers and sisters from another mother, Michelle Green, Billy Stewart, Chris Nichols and Chuckie Lawrence and Jackie (Lawrence) Harper.
A visitation will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI from 4:30-7:00 p.m. The family will be present.
