He was born April 13, 1938 in Belmont Co., Ohio to the late Frances Lee and Joe Harper.
Darryl retired from the Hoover Co. and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by wife Dorothy; son Kurt; daughter Deirdra Brocious (Tim); sister Evelyn Bishop; special nephew Ray Harper (Janette); and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by step son Bill Stalnaker; siblings Ray Harper, Carolyn Hoffee, Penny Sills and Joe Bortz.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
