Patty Oliver

Patty T. Oliver was called home to be with the Lord on August 17th, 2025. Patty was born December 26th, 1963 to Dorothy Parson and the late John H. Husk in Canton, Ohio. Patty was preceded in death by her beloved stepfathers, Donald A. Haas and Robert Bair; sister, Roberta "Birdie" Stinard, and nephew, William Bandy. Patty is survived by her loving husband of more than 40 years, James L. "Jay" Oliver II and their son, James L. Oliver III; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Patty attended GlenOak High School and built her successful career at Dollar Bank and leaves a legacy through the countless lives she has impacted with her light and presence. Patty showed an enormous amount of bravery and perseverance during her lengthy battle with illness. James and Patty enjoyed spending as much time as possible with loved ones and their many animals throughout the years.

There will be no viewing or calling hours per Patty's wishes but please join us in celebrating her beautiful soul and laying her to rest on Thursday, August 21st at Sunset Hills Memory Garden located at 7920 Frank Ave. NW., Canton, Ohio 44718. A brief service will be held at 11:00a.m. in the Mausoleum at Sunset Hills with burial to follow. All are welcome to attend lunch at 12:30p.m. at Old Country Church (Faith Cathedral) 1065 Lilly Ave. NE., East Canton, Ohio 44730.
