Darryl "Curly" Mihalovic of Turlock, CA has passed away at the age of 85. He was born to Daniel and Beatrice Mihalovic in La Crosse, Wisconsin. LaCrosse is where he grew up and graduated from High School. Curly served in the Navy from 1957-1961. In 1959, he married the love of his life Herta Gognavec, and together they raised their 4 children, Annette, Frank, Wayne, and Michael.
Curly worked as a machinist for 40 years, and then earned his Bachelor's Degree. He worked the next 11 years as a special education teacher's assistant, serving severely handicapped teenagers.
Curly was a person who loved the Lord, his wife and his family. He was truly devoted to them. He was passionate about his hobbies, hunting and fishing, as well as being a devout Green Bay fan. Go Packers!
Curly is survived by his three children, Annette Hadlich, Wayne Mihalovic, and Michael Mihalovic, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Curly is preceded in death by his son Frank, and his wife Herta.
A Funeral will be held for Darryl on Monday, September 18, 2023 starting at 10:00am. The visitation will begin before the funeral starting at 8:30am, and interment will follow the funeral at Turlock Memorial Park.
